Budapest

The central meeting point between the East, West, South and North for centuries, Budapest has bragging rights on a great diversity of architecture, art, language and inhabitants. While historically remembered as a partner in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the 1956 October Revolution which began to shake the foundations of the Communist regime here in Hungary, Budapest is steeped in history and culture - and the locals are not afraid to share their story. Transportation in and out of Budapest is relatively easy by train and bus, and becoming cheaper with discount airlines flying in and out of Budapest.
Heroes' Square, Parliament, St Stephen's Basilica, The Great Synagogue (second largest in the world), and many other historic and famous places of interest are a few of the general sights one might see during one of our programs.
